11 Feb Stabilizers

The day before yesterday we were with the buyers of the new Vri-Jon Contessa 42 OC, in Scheveningen for a trial run on the North Sea to test the stabilizers of DMS Holland.

This will be the first Vri-Jon Contessa with the DMS MagnusMaster system and that is why we wanted to experience this ourselves; to know what you’re selling is very important!

And what a difference when the DMS MagnusMaster is switched on or off! With wind force 5.5, things are very rough without this stabilization system. Once the system was switched on, the sea seemed so much calmer within approx. 10/15 seconds:  at first you still had to hold on, so turbulent it was on the water; and the next moment you could stand and walk around without having to hold on!

A real first for Vri-Jon DSA Yachts and also a very nice and certainly a positive experience!

During our Vri-Jon experience days there will be a demo of DMS Holland at our shipyard in Ossenzijl.

From 11 to 13 March you are welcome to come and see for yourself several aspects that are involved in the construction of a custom-build motor yacht.
